One table to share, private nights
This is what most large holiday houses lack: privacy. Here the group shares the pool, the courtyard, the terraces and the meals, but every family has its own place to stay, with its own door, kitchen and bathroom. Early risers rise early, small children nap when they need to, and anyone can find some quiet the moment they want it.

Extended-family reunion
Three generations under one roof, with enough room for everyone to be properly settled. Each family keeps its own door, its own hours and its own breakfast.
Milestone birthday
A milestone worth two days rather than one evening. The courtyard and the shared spaces seat everyone; the pool takes care of the afternoon.
Family gathering
Time together without living on top of each other. Meals are shared, nights are private, and the children have the pool and the trampoline.
Wedding and hen party
The whole property to yourselves: preparations the day before, the celebration itself, and a real night on site instead of a drive home.
Weekend with friends
Two nights, one long table, the spa and sauna, and the river on foot. Canoeing or via ferrata on Saturday, nothing at all on Sunday.
Company offsite
A whole team housed in one place, far from hotel meeting rooms. Catering on site, and somewhere for everyone to breathe between sessions.

Everything within walking distance
The property sits in the middle of Saint-Bauzille-de-Putois, between the Cévennes and the Mediterranean. The Grotte des Demoiselles is 500 m away, the river a few minutes on foot, the shops just down the road. Many of our groups spend the whole weekend without touching the car.

The Grotte des Demoiselles
The Grotte des Demoiselles is one of the great developed caverns in France. You descend by a funicular cut into the rock, which replaced the old ladder descent and is already part of the experience. At the bottom, the main chamber opens into a volume long known as the cathedral: tens of metres of vault overhead, a floor that drops away, and a central formation that local tradition named the Virgin and Child.

Our story
A family house, to bring you together
The property belonged to their great-grandmother. Marc and Stéphane, two brothers, restored it to welcome other families.
The property belonged to their great-grandmother. It was a family house in the middle of Saint-Bauzille-de-Putois, with its courtyard, its stone buildings and the Thaurac cliff standing over it, the kind of house where thirty of them already gathered, and where each generation had its own room.
Marc and Stéphane are brothers. They are also business partners in the restaurant trade, which they have worked in together for a long time. When the house came to them, they chose to restore it rather than sell it, and to turn it into somewhere other families could gather on the same terms they had: everybody in one place, but each with their own front door.
That is why the property has the shape it does today. The four cottages and the suite are not units bolted together to make up numbers: they are the old parts of the house, reworked one at a time, each with its own entrance, kitchen and bathroom. The courtyard, the pool, the spa and the sauna stayed shared, because that is where the house always did its living.
That Marc and Stéphane are restaurateurs is not a detail either. They can take on the meals for a stay, from the arrival dinner to the main celebration, and it is often what decides a group: cooking for twenty, when you came to spend time together, is not what you want to be doing.
So the house has come full circle. It was built for one family, it held theirs for four generations, and it now exists to bring other people’s together.
